Vagabond Antiques presents an 18th Century Bust.
This intriguing 18th Century bust is made from a type of clay composition, clay was used a lot in the 18th century and finally perfected by Eleanor Coade in the mid 18th Century.
This particular bust may have been part of a larger statue as she is life size and although she has some losses, its certainly part of the attraction and seems to suit her well, she is solid and sturdy despite the old damage – full of character and has a real presence.
